"The past is never dead. It's not even past."
-William Faulkner
In the aritcles of these pages we reveal to you details of the past that we discovered in our research and experience in the Purdue Archives. The Purdue Archives is located on the fourth floor of the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education Library in the Stewert Center of Purdue Univeristy's campus . Few students venture to the top floor of this building to utilize the Archives, but those who do, students like us, come away with an experience and knowledge unlike any technology can offer. The official name for the archives is The Virginia Kelly Karnes Archives and Special Collections Research Center and it opened for public use at the beginning of the year 2009. Found in the archives vaults are manuscripts, rare books, papers, and records for many Purdue staff members, organizations, and events. We hope you enjoy your virtual experience of the Purdue Archives and what you can find there!
